Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Ambar Build (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our application and services, including our text-messaging (SMS/MMS) and voice communications.

Information we collect

• Account & contact information: name, email, phone number, role, and company, provided at onboarding or by an authorized administrator.
• Service/operational data: work orders, properties, scheduling, job notes, photos, and related records needed to perform field-service work.
• Communications: text messages, call metadata, and in-app messages exchanged to coordinate service.
• Technical data: device/browser, log, and usage data to operate and secure the app.

How we use information

We use information to provide and coordinate field-service work, schedule and confirm appointments, send operational notifications, enable privacy-masked communication between parties, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell it.

Text messaging (SMS/MMS) and consent

• We send transactional/operational messages (appointment confirmations, technician ETA, work-order status, access coordination, job assignments, reminders) related to an active service relationship. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
• Consent: subcontractors and staff opt in via an explicit, unchecked checkbox at onboarding; residents are messaged in the context of an active work order at their property. Message frequency varies by service activity.
• Opt-out: reply STOP at any time to stop messages; reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
• Mobile information / phone numbers are NEVER shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party for any purpose.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to deliver the service: with the client/property manager and assigned personnel for the specific job; with service providers (e.g., our messaging/voice provider, hosting, payment/accounting tools) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations; and where required by law. We never sell personal information, and never share mobile/SMS opt-in data with third parties. In privacy-masked communications, we deliberately withhold personal phone numbers from the other party.

Data security & retention

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption, access controls, row-level security) and retain information only as long as needed for the service or as legally required. Sensitive identifiers (e.g., tax IDs, bank details) are encrypted and access-restricted.

Your choices & rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at office@ambarbuild.com, subject to legal/operational retention requirements. You may opt out of texts at any time via STOP.

Children's privacy

The service is for business use and not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted with a new effective date.
